Australian Immigration Medicals can only be performed by Australian Immigration Panel Doctors.
Dr Nick Giblin is a panel doctor at Broadway Medical Centre. Australian Immigration Medicals are now completed online via the Australian Immigration Department's eMedical system. For us to complete your medical you will need an HAP ID (consent for having your health examination recorded electronically). You will need to obtain this from an Australian Immigration Case Officer before we can book you an appointment. Requirements for Australian Immigration medical appointment:
- Current passport
- eMedical referral letter
- Glasses or contact lenses
- Any relevent medical history that the doctor may need to see
- Legal guardian if you are under 16 years of age
A full medical examination will need to be carried out by the doctor. You may be required to do a urine sample so please ensure you are well hydrated. Laboratory blood tests may also be required which are an additional cost. Women are unable to complete the medical if you have your period as the urine sample cannot be done during menstruation, or within three days of it finishing. All woman over 40 years old will need to undergo a breast examination.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time so that we can register your details and take your photograph prior to your medical.
