Broadway at Covid-19 Traffic Light: Orange

  • You are not required to have a vaccine pass to access essential health care services.
  • All patients over the age of 12 are expected to wear a mask when entering the practice.
  • Please scan the Covid QR code upon arrival.

Appointments:

We currently have a higher than usual demand for appointments.  This means for non-urgent appointments the wait can be up to two weeks.  With the Christmas period approaching this may increase. We apologise for this, and if your appointment is more urgent please let us know so we can add you to our triage list. Someone will call you back to discuss things further with you.

We are primarily doing phone/video (telehealth) consultations in the first instance. This is to minimise the number of people in the practice at any one time. Doctors can order a range of tests, do medical certificates, and prescribe medication if necessary during telehealth consultations. If the doctor does need to see you in person, they will discuss this with you at the time. You will only be charged for one appointment. There may be a further charge if you require treatment or advice for additional issues.

If you have respiratory symptoms and you are seeing the Doctor, Nurse, or our Swab Clinic you will not be able to enter via our main reception. You will be sent a text message with the details of your appointment. Access is via the side door with 'Red Stream' posters on the window. You will need to wait in your car until you are advised to enter the practice. Practice staff in these clinics will be in full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

In-person appointments for people without any respiratory symptoms are still accessed through our main entrance. Masks must be worn by those over 12. Please come to the appointment alone if you can, or limit to one support person. If you develop any respiratory symptoms after your appointment has been booked, please DO NOT come in for your appointment. (This includes parents and support people). Please phone us to discuss things as we may be able to organise a telehealth consultation or an alternative appointment for you in our Red Stream.
