Dr Penny Eames
General Practitioner
Originally from the UK, Dr. Penny Eames graduated from the University of Bristol in 1996 and became a GP in 2000. She gained experience in Emergency Medicine in Auckland before returning to the UK, later transitioning back to General Practice in 2008. Alongside clinical work, she developed a passion for medical education, earning teaching qualifications from the University of Bristol.
In 2014, Penny moved permanently to Dunedin with her husband and two children. She has since worked in teaching and pastoral care at Otago Medical School and specialises in Urgent Care as a GP. Outside of medicine, she enjoys time with family, as well as skiing, horses, and dogs.
